(Single vehicle collision)…It was reported at 8:00 Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene on West Carter and Loveland Roads. They found a vehicle completely submerged in a canal. One of the occupants was standing on the roof of the vehicle. Border Patrol agents were on scene and said everyone was able to exit the vehicle safely. They did not say how many were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the collision. The Imperial Irrigation District was called to remove the vehicle from the canal.
