(Fireworks in Calipatria)…It will happen, after all.
The Calipat City Council had said there was not enough funds to pay for a Fourth of July Fireworks show this year. That has now changed. The Imperial County Farm Bureau has stepped in. Working with the City, they have put together a Freedom Weekend Celebration. It will be on Saturday July 6. The Festivities will begin at 7:00 pm and the Fireworks show will start at 9:00 pm.
