Saturday , June 22, 2019 will be a day to celebrate Hometown Hero Andy Ruiz , Jr.
The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a parade starting at 4th Street and Imperial Avenue in Imperial. the parade will travel north , toward Barioni Blvd , and then head west toward D Street , ending on the campus of Imperial High School. A rally at the high school football field will follow the parade. The event will be free and the entire Imperial Valley is invited to honor Ruiz who is the heavyweight champion of the boxing world.
