(Mexico cracking down on illegal caravans)…Is it enough?.
President Trump has said he will begin implementing a 5% tariff on Mexican Goods, if Mexico does not do more to stop illegal’s from Central America from crossing Mexico to enter the United States. Mexican officials say law enforcement has intercepted about 600 illegal migrants in two separate caravans in Southern Mexico. So far, the response from the White House is that the tariffs will begin Monday. They will start at 5%, and increase another 5% every month until October. President Trump says they will remain at 25% until Mexico complies with his demand.
