(Air Pollution Control District issues)…They were discussed Tuesday.

The County Board of Supervisors convened as the Air Pollution Control District at their morning meeting. They approved a funding agreement through Rule 310 with Calexico Unified School District for the Parking Lot Paving Project in an amount not to exceed $406,480. They approved the ratification of submittal of a grant application to the State Reserve, under the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program for Fiscal Year 2018-2019, and they adopted a resolution delegating authority to the Air Pollution Control Officer to participate in and accept funding. And, as the APCD, they accepted at $25,000 grant from the Prescribed Burn Reporting and Monitoring Support Program.
