(Annual Memorial Day Ceremony)…It will be held in Holtville.

The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary Bradley-Keffer Post 138 and the City of Holtville will host the 2019 Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday May 27. It will begin at 8:30 in the morning at Holt Park on 5th Street. The public is encouraged to attend. The Master of Ceremonies will be the American Legion Auxiliary President Kim Vincent. The ceremony will include a Keynote Address by Commander Jeremy B. Doughty, Executive Officer of the Naval Air Facility El Centro. The Invocation and Benediction will be delivered by Lieutenant Jenkins of NAF, and the U.S Armed Forces medley with Flag Presentation by the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 4500. The special guests will include the family of World War two veteran Miguel G. Macliz KIA and American Legion Commander Larry Leonardo. Holtville Mayor Ginger Ward will also speak during the ceremony.
