(Mother’s Day is coming up)…In Mexico, Mother’s Day will be Friday May 10th.
In the United States, Mother’s Day is Sunday May 12th. Many in Imperial Valley celebrate both days. In Calexico, a Mother’s Day Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 8th. It will be held at the Calexico Community Center, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. It is an annual event. There will be lunch, music and dancing. Tickets are $5.00 for those 55 years and older. $10 for those 54 years and under. For more information contact the Calexico Recreation Department.
