(A Very Windy day)….Strong winds are forecast between 25-35 miles per hour, with some gusts up to 55 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service Wind Advisories are in effect into Monday evening, along the Colorado River corridor, along Interstate 8 from the Imperial County Line to Alpine in San Diego County. Wind Advisory in effect in the Indio area, as well. A travelers Advisory is in effect in the Winterhaven area due to strong gusty winds. The Wind Advisories end Monday night, with breezy conditions overnight and throughout the day Tuesday.
