(36 year old found hiding on a train)…It happened early Wednesday morning.
Customs and Border Protection officers at the Calexico Port of Entry say shortly before 4:45 am, officers scanned an inbound train, using the rail x-ray imaging system. They noticed an anomaly on the side of a rail car. A search of the area resulted in the discovering of the 36 year old Honduran national. He was hiding in a small space on the freight car’s exterior. During processing, the CBP officers confirmed the man’s nationality, as well as his criminal history. It was also determined the man had no legal ability to be in the United States. Officers placed an immigration hold on the man to initiate the removal process, following criminal proceedings.
