(Two arrested at the Andrade Port)…The man and woman are from Pomona.
They were crossing into the United States Sunday at the Andrade Port of Entry. The couple and their vehicle were sent to the secondary inspection area. A more detailed search resulted in the discovery of 24 packages hidden in the vehicle’s gas tank and wheel wells. The packages tested positive for methamphetamine. The two were turned over to Homeland Security Investigations agents, who arrested the couple. Processed them and booked the two into County Jail on smuggling charges.
