(Special Board of Supervisors meeting)….It is being held this afternoon.
One of the main items is the Imperial County Deputy District Attorneys Association. The meeti9ng will be a closed session meeting. The Association last week released a statement of their intent to call a strike against the county, alleging unfair negotiations from the county. In response the county sought an injunction from the California Public Employees Relations Board. Over the weekend the Board rejected the request, instead suggesting a mediator to try and work out the differences between the two sides.
