(Border Patrol arrests gang member)….He was arrested near Calexico this week.
Border Patrol agents say they encountered the man they suspected had entered the country illegally. He was arrested and transported to the El Centro Station for processing. During the processing and records check, it was determined the man was a member of the 18th Street Gang. The suspect admitted his gang affiliation. The 20 year old Honduran National was being held pending federal prosecution for federal crimes.
