(Cheers to 100 years)…That is the theme for Tuesday’s celebration.
It is the 100th year celebration of the Calexico Carnegie Library. Opened in 1919. The celebration will be at the Carnegie Technology Center, 420 Heber Avenue in Calexico. It starts at 4:30 pm. The guest speaker will be California State Librarian Greg Lucas. There will be presentations by Congressman Juan Vargas, State Senator Ben Hueso and Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia. A reception and Chamber Mixer will follow the event at the Calexico Woman’s Improvement Club.
