(Border Patrol finds another gang member)…The man was detained east of Calexico.
Agents were patrolling the area when they saw an individual enter the United States illegally. The man was arrested and taken to the El Centro Station for processing. A records check revealed an extensive criminal record, including a felony burglary charge. The man admitted to being a member of the Sureno gang out of San Mateo. An active warrant was also discovered out of Redwood City for Burglary of a vehicle. The Border Patrol says they will not extradite the man right now. They said the 28 year old Mexican National will first be prosecuted for re-entry into the United States after being previously deported.
