Another small earthquake was reported Monday afternoon.

The magnitude 3.1 was recorded at about 5:50 p.m. by the U. S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 2.4 miles south southeast of Brawley. The Monday earthquake followed several micro-quakes earlier in the day. Last week there were several other minor earthquakes recorded in the same general area. No damage has been reported from any of the quakes.

Another small earthquake was recorded at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday. This one was a magnitude 3.5 with an epicenter 1.8 miles south southeast of Brawley.
