Robert S. Brewer was sworn in Wednesday as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of California.
Chief U.S. District Court Judge Barry Ted Moskowitz presided over the swearing in ceremony in San Diego. Mr. Brewer is a decorated Vietnam War veteran , former prosecutor and San Diego litigator. He was nominated by President Trump in June of 2018 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate on January 2, 2019. The Southern District of California includes San Diego and Imperial Counties.
