A member of the notorious Surenos gang was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents Thursday.
Agents patrolling about a half-mile east of the Calexico Port of Entry located the man and arrested him on suspicion of illegal entry into the United States. Further investigation led to information that the man , a citizen of Mexico , had an extensive criminal record. The man admitted to being a member of the Surenos gang out of Sacramento.
