It hit at 10:40 Wednesday night, about 7 miles Northwest of Calipatria. The US Geological Survey recorded the quake at a magnitude 3.4. No damage or injury was reported. Several micro-quakes are recorded in the area every day. A micro-quake is measured at a magnitude below 3 on the Richter Scale.
