(Caravan update)…It will be presented to the County Board of Supervisors.
The presentation will be at the Board’s Tuesday meeting in El Centro. Jorge Rivera-Navarro, Special Operations Supervisor-Field communications branch of the El Centro Sector Border Patrol, will make the presentation regarding the plan relating to the Central America Immigrant Caravan reaching the United States. Thousands of Central American citizens form the caravan. The President has said they will not enter the United States illegally. He has announced the deployment of thousands of military troops to deter the illegal entry. The Supervisors public meeting begins at 9:30 Tuesday morning.
