(100 pounds of meth seized)….A Mexican National was arrested.
It happened this week at the San Luis, Arizona Port of Entry. The 39-year-old resident of San Luis Rio Colorado was crossing the border in a pickup this week. The woman and her vehicle were referred to the secondary inspection area after a canine alerted to the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 106 pounds of methamphetamine, valued at more than $310,000. The woman was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations agents. The pickup and narcotics were seized.
