(The County has a new Deputy CEO)…It was announced Thursday morning
. The new Deputy CEO is Esperanza Colio Warren. She has worked as the County Community and Economic Development Manager for the past 14 years. Before coming to the County in 2004, Colio Warren worked for IVROP and before that she was with the Tourist and Conventions Bureau in Mexicali. She received her bachelors and Master’s degrees in Public Administration from San Diego State University. Colio Warren has functioned as the County’s premier grant writer, and steadfastly pursued funding sources to develop, restore and expand infrastructure projects in support of business and/or community development, securing more than $40 million in state and federal grants for the county. She is married and has a son attending California State University in Chico.
