(A reported stabbing)…It was reported at just after 7:00 Thursday morning.
Officials say an individual was dropped off at El Centro Regional Medical Center. Nurses were told that the unconscious person was suffering from an over-dose. Nurses examined the patient and found a stab wound to his head. They immediately called law enforcement. The County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. The victim was flown to a San Diego area hospital for treatment. His condition is not known. Officials say the man was apparently stabbed in Heber before he was taken to ECRMC. No other details have been made available.
