Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced that the Department of Justice will send more prosecutors and immigration judges to the U.S. / Mexico border.

Sessions said that the DOJ will add 35 assistant United States attorneys to prosecute illegal entries into the U.S. The will also be 18 immigration judges assigned to the border to work on asylum cases. Sessions said , " We are not going to let this country be overwhelmed. People are not going to caravan or otherwise stampede our border."
