(Supervisors to convene their meeting early)….The Board of Supervisors meet weekly on Tuesday.
The Board this week anticipates a very long closed session. They have decided to begin their regular session at 7:30 this week, an hour earlier than the normal meetings. Most of the Supervisors closed session items deal with litigation, including the Quantification Settlement Agreement coordinated cases in Sacramento Superior Court. A recent preliminary decision from that court awarded attorney fees to San Diego County Water Authority. The preliminary decision said the fees should be paid by Imperial County and the Air Pollution Control District, who had contested the validation of the QSA. The Validation was upheld by the court. The Supervisors have 3 items on their action agenda.
