Ham recognized by off-road group

(Former County employee recognized)….He was recognized Saturday.

The AMA District 38 held their annual Awards Banquet. Bob Ham, who is already in the Off-Road Racing Hall of Fame, was presented with an award recognizing him for his efforts to keep desert racing alive. Ham recently retired as the Imperial County Intergovernmental Liaison. Former District 4 Supervisor Gary Wyatt filled the vacancy left by Ham. The two are currently working with SCORE on a major off-road event planned for April in Imperial County. Wyatt is part of a County team working out the logistics of the upcoming event. Ham is using all his talents to ensure the event is a success.
