(Buckle up, every trip, every time)…..The California Highway Patrol issued the reminder.
They say the Holidays are also travel season. The CHP says motorists should ensure everyone inside their vehicle is buckled up before heading out. They say that is the law, whether you are traveling across town, or across the country. They say buckling up is one way to help secure a safe arrival at your destination. Officials say Thanksgiving weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year. As the volume of traffic increases, so does the risk of being involved in a serious or deadly collision. The California Highway Patrol will engage in a Maximum Enforcement Period beginning at 6:00 pm Wednesday. It will continue through Sunday December 1, at 11:59 pm.
