(Supervisors approve permit fees for food vendors)….But not before the Board amended it.
The fee schedule was presented by the Public Health Department. The schedule was put together after two meetings were held with non-profit and commercial vendors. The Permits are for temporary food facilities and certified Farmers Markets. The Supervisors reduced the 1-4 day permits to $10.00 for everyone. And the 12-month permit was reduced to $165.00 for commercial vendors. All other permits remained as recommended, with a 50% reduction for non-profits. The Community Kitchen annual health permit is now $478.00 for commercial vendors and nothing for non-profits. Some non-profit organizations felt all permits should be free for them.
