(Maximum Enforcement continues)…The CHP Holiday enforcement program began Friday evening.
It will end at mid-night tonight. During the 3-day holiday, the California Highway Patrol schedules as many officers as possible to patrol the roadways. The purpose is to deter drunk or otherwise impaired drivers from operating vehicles. The Officers will have a vigilant eye on seatbelt and other violations.
