(Attention music lovers)….Join a free, fun ensemble.
It is being offered at Imperial Valley College. The class is held Mondays and Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 5:25 pm. The class is listed under MUS 803, Orchestra for Older Adults. It is free. You can also take the class for Credit. It is the same class under MUS 171, Chamber Orchestra. It meets at the same time, same place. Music Teacher Hope Davis says all stringed instrument players and all percussion instruments are welcome. She says they plan to do a variety of musical styles including classical, pop, multi-cultural, mariachi, some rondalla, jazz and jazzy, etc. Participants do not have to be expert players. All levels are accepted, such as beginning, intermediate, advanced and Used To Play Long Ago. Interested participants, go to imperial.edu/registration.
