(Gang Member arrested late last week)…Border Patrol agents from the El Centro Sector made the arrest.
The agents witnessed a man illegally enter the United States. Agents arrested the man and took him to the El Centro Station to be processed. At the station, it was discovered the man had a felony conviction for illegal re-entry into the United States and he was a registered Sureno gang member. He had been sentenced to a 4-year prison term under the Street Gang Act. The man, a 22-year-old Mexican Citizen, will be prosecuted for Re-entry into the U.S. after being previously removed.
